Gigapan Updates the Epic Pro Panorama System

gigapan-epic-pro.jpgThe Gigapan Epic Pro is a very specific piece of photography gear. It does one thing - panoramas - and it does them well. It automatically captures and then stitches together images for photos that can range into the gigapixel range.

The latest firmware update improves upon the already impressive Epic Pro by adding new features and improving on existing ones. Gigapan added new aspect ratio options, a setting that prevents bumpiness and even the option to capture a series of panoramas over a set period of time.

What may be even more interesting is the addition of exposure bracketing to allow for multiple exposures per position. That means HDR panoramas are possible with ease.
You can download the firmware directly from Gigapan.
