Wedding photography is one thing, but getting shots of one of the most anticipated and publicized weddings in years is another completely. The marriage ceremony between Kate Middleton and Prince William of Wales is as big as it gets.
Two Reuters photographers who will be taking shots of the couple as they leave the abbey have shared a bit of their preparation process, including a picture of the gear they'll be bringing. Between the two of them, there will be 10 different cameras, and lenses ranging from 800mm to a 15mm fish-eye. It comes out to around 100 pounds of camera equipment a piece.
They'll be setting up several of these cameras to be operated with wireless triggers and give an overview of the proceedings while the photographers concentrate on capturing that perfect shot.
