Leica Announces North American Debut of Photo Akademie

The folks at Leica have hosted photography workshops known as Photo Akademie since 1934, but are only now expanding to North America.

"With a rich European heritage, the Leica Akademie has been helping Leica enthusiasts enhance and deepen their Leica experience for over 75 years," says Leica VP Christian Erhradt. "The Akademie's goal is to increase the fun and enjoyment of photography, expand photographic knowledge and bring the total Leica experience to a new generation of photographers."

Things kick off this July, and workshops run through the end of the year in cities like Boston, Miami, New York, Los Angeles and Toronto, Canada. They range from single day experiences to full weekend workshops that allow you to get hands on experience with Leica cameras.
